Hola! to the blogging community! I thought I’d start my own blog, I’ve followed so many blogs for ages now and it looked like fun! So here goes..


New skincare regime...

I’ve always felt the skincare market and majority of products tend to be catered for oily and spot prone skin, whilst my dry and sensitive skin sat in a corner with no attention :( So you can imagine my joy when I discovered the line http://www.firstaidbeauty.com/ I found it browsing the Sephora website (they sadly don’t ship to the UK but I like looking at the pretty pictures!) Looking at the product descriptions they seemed like the ‘miracle’ products I’m always searching for. I emailed the company asking if they’d ship them to me.....and they did! The woman spoke to was lovely and the products arrived the next week. 

I ordered the Ultra Repair Cream and the Healing Stick, I didn’t get the cleanser as I’d managed to grab a hold of one over eBay. So what did I think? The cleanser definitely delivers, even with my mega dry skin it didn’t make my face feel tight, just clean and soft whilst removing all my makeup :) The moisturizer is definitely the winner though – you get a hefty amount which i like as you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth! The moisturizer is surprisingly not too heavy and can be worn as a day cream, but I like to slap it on at night after using the cleanser.

On to the Repair Stick!..... it was a bit of a let down for me –I found it’s too greasy for my face so I haven’t really used it – however I’m thinking I’ll whop it out in winter when my skin gets crazy dry! 

So all in all I love this line and would definitely repurchase and recommend to anyone with dry skin who happens to pass by a Sephora (lucky person!) Anyone else with dry skin have any favourite products?! Thanks for reading! xxx
